bottom end went on rolling road! what to do next?

right lads after getting my emanage blue mapped today it was on the final run when the bottom let go and know has a faint knocking sound! was turned straight off and recovered home.

basically where shale I go from here? drop the sump and see what damage is done? thanks

U will most likely need a new crank or a reground one.

im pretty sure its spun a bearing....... it was mapped at allen Jefferies but don't think this has nothing to do with it, the bottom end is original and on 120,000 miles! and as to what caused it I have no idea!

strip down and inspect whats the damage and which bearing spun !

stripped down today.... it spun bearing number 1 closest to cambelt! i need to get a second opinion on having the crank ground down as it looks ok to me but not to clued up myself.

neads a regrind every time !!!!!! if it spun then there is marks on it !!!!

just buy a 4efe for parts

Who here has used a reground crank without issues?

if its spun bearings the rod will be knackery

no not always if you hear it just and turned it of the rod will be ok

i would get a 4efe crank and slot that in mate
