fordie_glanzaV Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Looking to get 3 bar map sensor for my emb very soon. I know the greddy 1s are over £100 new. Got a link sent to me for a cheaper option. Has anyone had bad experience with the cheaper replicas.I know rob_bower wouldnt of linked me to it if he had problems with it.. Is it get what u pay for or just paying for the name... Phil Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 never had an issue with the cheap chinese 3bar one. i have had the toyota one fail/leak pretty sure the toyota/denso will be ten times better built (at the time) but these things happen. id have no problems using one again. Phil Quote

Stu Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 The genuine GM units are very good and are commonly used in high power setups - just make sure your buying a 3/5bar unit when bidding for any off ebay etc. The part numbers will tell you which version it is. Quote
