Lew91
So I get dropped off today from work and as I'm walking back to my car I see a ticket on the window. Bearing in mind there is no visible signs above the parking bays as to times etc so I've been parking there for nearly 2 months. Any way it seems to me like I'm ok to park there due to it being a designated parking bay. Few pics to make it easier So am I wrong to park there?
russ78
its residential dude you probably need a permit displayed
bucketep91
I'd fight that one! You are taking up the road but the road markings are a bit vague and the sign is blankIs it a private mob or council?
Lew91
Yeah I understand that but there's no signs displaying that. Would it be worth disputing against it? I know it's only £35 but it's more the principle then any thing else. It's not hurting any one just sitting there for the day! It's a council one
russ78
no offence but there's no dispute your not a resident parked in residential parking bay with no permit displayed, if it was me id take it on the chin and be smug I got away with it for this long....
Jamie5414
If there's no signs visible from where your car is parked telling you to display a permit or whatever, don't even pay the ticket, if they take you to court you will just say "where does it say to display permits or rather, permit holders only?" they aint got nothing on you

I think I'll park some where else from now on.
