Bring on 2008

Hi all,

Sorry im ranting but im having a pretty crap month. After the breaking down incident i didn't think the month could get any worse.

BUT

On Christmas eve my bank account was kindly relieved off £500 by someone i would love to meet and beat the crap out of!!!! My bank account has been frozen, which means i cant use it at all until it's sorted. I was paid on the 21st, I paid all my bills, Filled my tank up, did my of christmas shopping, went out for my Birthday, and thats it.

Orange broadband have sent me a letter taking me to court as i have not been paying for broadband i cancelled nearly 3 months ago. I've told them about, No joke) ten times im not with them anymore. They seem to sort it out and then i get this. By the way it's £15 i owe them apparently.

And finally a Trojan virus has got onto my PC some how. I think it has something to do with letting my brother use it for an hour or two. Now i have lost nearly 4000 photos of holidays, cars, show etc.

Im properly pissed off. If you know how i can fix my computer myself as i can't obviously pay someone to do it please let me know before my house falls down or something similar!!!!!!!!

I can't wait for this bad year to end!!!

In regards to your computer catching a trojan I can recommend this http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html I've used it once when I had a trojan, did the job.

But do delete the program after you've used as it does use up quite a bit of physical memory.

so let me get this right....your alive and healthy.....your family is alive and healthy.....your just worried about breaking down, a few pics that you could of easily backed up and having a bad couple of weeks with money!

for the trojan, im not 100% sure, maybe AVG could quarantine it!

and as for orange, i left them quite a few months ago now aswell as they suck, i did it all properly, phoned up and asked for my MAC code and they then switched me over to sky a few weeks later. then about 4 or 5 months later i get a letter from them sayin i owe them like £15 or £18 for a bill....ummmmmm if they're too retarded to bill me properly considering they had all the direct devit details which havnt changed then i dont see how its my problem, retards!!!! fuck them dude, i kept the letter from them incase they try this shit on me too, if they do i'll be makin an abusive phone call too!!!! idiots!!! dont let them bug u!!!!!! like a court would waste time for £15....i think not somehow!

Sorry to hear your pc problems man.

I'd use more than one antivirus (one at a time) to be double sure its gone, as some may pick up something others wont.

McAfee

All freeware, www.download.com, norton antivirus is more trouble than its worth so I'd avoid!

An even better way is to identify the name of the trojan once scanned with antivirus, search on google the best way to eradicate the virus in particular, simple antivirus scan doesnt always do the trick after deletion and there more steps needed for total eradication.
