5e colin
those are deffo 5efhe rods and by the look of it gt rods must be a gen1 5efe where you got them out off :) Edited September 18, 2014 by 5e colin
karl.
They are actually Glanza rods. There's a massive difference in the thickness of the two so I'm assuming they are the better fhe rods then.Does this mean it will have the better cams as well? Yip must have been a early paseo.Do these sell for much second hand?
5e colin
nooooo way my V rods that i have here are waaaay scinnier then that on the neck carl , the glanza v deffo had an engine swap out of a gt im very sure about that 1 , there 100% gen1 rods wich is goood
karl.
Thats just a old rod and piston I have lying about so not out of my Glanza. Probably have the skinny rods on in the glanza. At least the 5e rods are the good ones, Im building a forged 5e would it be worth changing them once im this far?
5e colin
wel you wont be able to destroy the rods carl the oem 4efte pistons break before the rod i cracked 3x pistons and never a rod before i forged my 5e few years back now unless your able to get some forged pistons to work on them you will have to get an engineers to rework the smal end on the rods for forged floating pins to work
