kevmcc90
What's the best way to tackle this, easy enough to remove while engine still in car? Just bolts etc to remove or?

kevmcc90
Right I had a bash at this today. When I pulled out the driveshaft on the drivers side the green cup also came out I assume this isn't meant to happen? I got as far as the rear mount but couldn't get it off for the life of me. Anyone got any tips? Cheers
enots
Green cups coming out isnt a problem as im assuming youve drained gearbox oil?? The cups just click back into place. As for getting the box out i done mine last weekend. I supported engine with a jack and block of wood undone all gearbox bolts etc then mounts abd then lowered the engine slightly so i could angle the box down and out of the passenger side below the wheel arch getting it back on on the other hand was a nightmare by myself lolAlso with the rear mount i found it easier to unbolt it from the bottom of the car as one whole thing instead of trying to split it. kevmcc90
Would that be like five bolts holding it onto the bottom of car? As one bolt is behind arb?
enots
Think theres six you need to removw in total aa you need to loosen the support bars off too so the mount can drop out yeahh true minw haant got the arb on ywt forgot about that!!
