so a couple weeks ago i started my car (although the engine turned slowly) and drove 10 miles to a shop only to find when i tried to leave the shop my car had a flat battery.

ive since tried the following:

- charged the battery

- changed the battery

- changed the alternator.

and as a result i am still experiencing the same issues which leads me to thinking there is another problem that im hoping some ideas flying around here would solve.

the car jump starts as you would expect but no chargy, ideas?

Are you checking the battery voltage to make sure it is flat? Or is it possibly something else making it seem like a flat battery.

Best way would be get a volt meter and look to see what's happening.

What's the voltage before starting?

What's the voltage at idle

What's the voltage driving round town

What's the voltage when you turn the car off

What's the voltage after leaving it for a few hours.

From that you can start to problem solve and help work out is it a charging issue or is there a drain on the battery.
