Anything else for power?

Recommended Posts

I would say Greddy emamage blue.. And mapped at 1 bar of boost would be well before going forged.

The plug and play was never designed for the TD04 turbo. They were designed for a ct9 or variation of.. Hybrid for example.

It's well worth getting your AFR checked out.

If it is more power that you are after then running more boost is the way to go.

I'm running a stock 4efte TD04 1bar on Greddy Emanage blue and it produced 237.6bhp.

Going from 0.7 - 1 bar will be very noticable

No, was informed that jam ecu would fuel it ok, is a tuning specialist the only place to get the ratios checked?

It is the best place. You could purchase a wideband and have your AFR displayed at all times

With the greddy, that would have to be professionally installed and then the rolling road/tuning on top, isn't it a lot of money. I know blowing the engine up is too. I suppose I was looking for the easiest quickest way for power.

I was hoping to have it all plug and play so when I finally sell it it will be easy to put back to standard and try and make some money back?

Plug and play = £500

Tuning developments EMB offer.. £550 including mapping.

Cool thanks, how much is a mapping check, remap?

If I got a greddy with a harness to plug it in then took it to the tuner?

I'm located in devon, where's tuning developments?

Great info! Thanks.

Tuning developments are up in Warrington. There are other tuners that can map the Emanage.. RDT are getting a lot of extremely good reviews and are being recommended more and more.

A remap is around £250 I think?.. Someone could confirm this..

£550 all in for the ECU fitted and mapped is a great deal imo

With the greddy and 1 bar, do I need to upgrade the injectors and fuel pump? Anything else?

I would suggest a fuel pressure regulator with the td04 for a finer tune and have it fitted with the emb and of course I happen to have one here will do you a good deal! You can buy plug n play harnesses for emb :)

I've already got a regulator thanks gainzy but the jam ecu didn't like it so removed it, but will fit it back with the emb, got one coming with a harness too. Excited!

All good! On your way now all good purchase's :)

Fitting an adjustable FPR with an emanage wouldn't get you a finer tune. Wont make a difference to the factory one, if you are running 1bar on standard injectors.

Well standard injectors would start struggling, so you could hike the fuel pressure up with an adjustable FRP to give them abit more 'go' so to say. Still won't get you a finer tune either way, as you'll trim all the fuelling with the ecu.

Does the greddy blue still remove the restrictions on boost and speed?

The Greddy blue will run your 1 bar set up spot on when you have it mapped but it will not remove the speed limiter you will either need an sld speed limit defencer or a mph convertor which attatches to your gearbox.
