Squeak-Glanza Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 I have just fitted a new clutch and when the im driving round corners or turning im getting a clunk/knocking noise.I've had the car up on the ramps and there dosent seem to be anything loose or that can any one shed some light on my problem.cheerssqueak Quote

Squeak-Glanza Posted January 15, 2008 Author Posted January 15, 2008 It seems to be on the passengers side of the car and its mostly happens when im turning right and it happens when the clutch is up.Im not sure but it seems to be after its hot or been running for a bit. Quote

NeilH Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 i think hes put the suspension back together after fitting the clutch and maybe left a drop link loose or something. easy to do, if u catch a bit of rust goin on you think its tight when its not. Quote

OzGlanzaV Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 I have just fitted a new clutch and when the im driving round corners or turning im getting a clunk/knocking noise.Sonds like a knackered CV joint to me.If you had to remove the driveshaft when doing the cluch, you may have split the CV boot. Once all the grease comes out the dry joint starts knocking on full lock.Oz Quote

Squeak-Glanza Posted January 27, 2008 Author Posted January 27, 2008 I've been at the car today and all the cv joints are ok the suspension is ok and everything that i toke off for changing the clutch are ok.Could it be my diff thats causing the problem...I just cant figure it out and its really pissing me off.
