Has two sets of runners, long only to help low down torque, at higher revs the second short set open to help air speed in.

My plan was to use a central locking solenoid to open up the valves, which would be trigged (through a relay) by the shift light from an aftermarket rev counter, allowing easy control of the point at which it opens. Could even have an 'open NOW' switch inside if wanted!

id assume it was due to the shorter runners having less volume fr the turbo to pressurise, giving shorter spool times and therefore torque earlier in the rev range. More torque might be to do with how the 4e's undersquare nature responds to boost, like turning up the boost on a turbodiesel, but ive no idea im literally guessing lol, hoped youd know for sure!

^^^^ i use 2 vsv valves 1 NO and 1 NC in conjunction with a y piece 1 triggered by my tb at wot and the other 1 by my digital rpm switch

at chops i have no phisical proof of roller prints but its gains both low and ( top smal bit )
