shaungt Posted January 13, 2015 Share Posted January 13, 2015 (edited) I am a mot tester Your pretty much ok up to 95 as I don't believe you will find 4efte in the manual then you still get the 3.50 / 1200 Also if the engine number is missing ???!!?! Then you can't test it to the exact match so therefore it drops down to the lower limit. After this if it's still not a match you still got to get it within it's limits just slightly more margin Failing that make your car a q plate and get pre 75 emissions testCould be wrong as there's so many different views and speaking to many testers they all say different. Chops Posted January 13, 2015 Share Posted January 13, 2015 i had a huge battle with this the first time i had mine mot'd, the mot tester threw the flow chart back in my face and pulled a a more modern one out of his ass that basically stated that an imports n reg onwards have to have a cat on em and meet 3.50/1200 or whatever. mines an n reg annoyingly, but passed by miles with nothing more than the precat Quote Link to post Share on other sites
