Starlet__SR
Sounds like you may still have air in your system. The air is getting hot and expanding causing the brakes to start binding. If its not then then it could be your piston that isnt backing off when you release the pedal. Also worth checking your sliders are free aswell.Day
Ryan_EP82 GT
As said above sliders are probably stuck or a damaged rubber ring in the piston housing not pulling piston back
matthews512
I've bleed the system countless time I've gone through 3litres of brake fluid and just put another new master cylinder on and problem is still there
bucketep91
More than likely a sticky rear piston. Happens all the time with our cars in cold weather. I leave it in gear with the handbrake off when it's freezin
matthews512
Its not the backs its only the front that do it so bad that I've now got two cracked discs and gone through a set of pad in about 500 miles its as if the pads are constantly touching and once they get to hot there expanding and gradually stopping the car but I don't seewhy they are doing that and how to sort it Its not the backs its only the front that do it so bad that I've now got two cracked discs and gone through a set of pad in about 500 miles its as if the pads are constantly touching and once they get to hot there expanding and gradually stopping the car but I don't seewhy they are doing that and how to sort it
toyotag2014
this deffinatly sounds like piston siezure to me bud you should be able to to pull rubber forward spray some white grease in their or rostoff and then push the piston back in calliper and then get a mate to push the brakes with you down at the piston with clamp over it so it doesnt pop out then push it back in and work it back and forth ect its probs got no grease in their so just lube it up then put back on see if this works if not new calliper im thinking dude

aidanep71
U sure your pedal isn't adjusted too much
matthews512
How do you go about adjusting the pedal I ?
aidanep71
Same as doing the clutch there's a rod going onto the pedal that can be adjusted... Have you free play on the pedal when cold
matthews512
There's a little play not much though
FMuscle
Might be just the pedal's free play, no play in the master.
