dnochris1
My glanza is black but when the sun hits it the paint seems to have green sparkles in it. Is this standard black as i wanna get the bumpet and bommet resprayed
Matt1878
My old black V (205 black) was similar. There appears to have a metallic flake in the paint. Lovely colour. It is a factory colour yes

mattyD
There are 2 shades of 205, one has more 'sparkle' than the other so make sure you get the right one bud
Happyb
205 black is 205 black lad cant have two different shades of it! and yea has green and red metallic in it!
Ollieh17
Ive heard that theres is supposedly two shades of 205black. However the paint supplier near meInsists there is only one, and that is the one that matches the glanza
fordie_glanzaV
Paint system i use shows three varients for 205..Same as my 1a0 there is 3 varients to the 1 code..
Ollieh17
Doesnt make sense to have different shades for one code. I know there are a number ofBlacks with codes very close to 205. Ive never seen more than one example of 205 tbh
Whitenoize
Ther is different 205,s and

Whitenoize
Just google toyota paint codes dude I only realised when I got paint made up for a gt ther is 040 white 040 super white and 040 super white 2 or sumthing like that can't remember of the top of my head Edited January 23, 2015 by Whitenoize
Ollieh17
Don't know about 040. But from a quick google and trolling through the toyota paint codes. There is one kind of 205 more than one type of astral black
mattyD
Exactly that....but they both come under the 205 paint code....one basically has more sparkle than the other, that's all it looked like anyway....the shade of black is pretty much identical
fordie_glanzaV
I dont know why the manufactures do it but i see it daily makes paint matching a cock at times when there can be up to 7 varients for 1 colour.. Like with the 1a0 colour theres standard shade, bluer shade and greener shade.. When im at work ill try find more on the
