mr_K
Here is my glanza v that i bought from a uk salvage in 2012.the car started off with a stock engine and it was silver. only have a few pics of the car when it was silver.process of the it getting a full spray job in subaru type r blue.this is how it stands.6months of ownership the engine let me down, in boost it used to burn oil and alot off excess oil was in the intercooler. i then suspected that it might have a problem with either the turbo or stem seals.after a engine teardown i found that it had 4 cracked piston ringlands,i didnt want to give up on it so i removed the engine for a overhaul and i ordered myself some forged pistons and rods.the process of the engine rebuild which was done by me as im a mechanic but i didnt build the bottom end because i dont want something to go wrong thats a job for a specialist.engine is now in and is running sweet but its only a ct9!so now its time to contact Sacha and order a topmount td04 kit until i run my engine in.the kit arrived after a month and its time to td04 it now.here is a pic of the td04 kit fitted.its only running 0.4bar wastegate pressure atm.after a few months i decided to upgrade my turbo to a td05 with 20g housing and up the boost to 0.65bar, only because i have a stock ecu and its fueling stock.the project is still not finished my aim is to push it to around 300 - 350bhp.currently working on a new cylinder head to port and polish and fit high lift cams.i hope everyone likes my build.
