What could be the cause?

Looks like that this unsprung clutch could not handle quick release of the power and input shaft ripped the teeth off

Did the flywheel have any heat marks? Could have some heat involved to do something like that

Spec clutch my power is 210bhp 227lb torque and its my dayley! tbh i don't rip it up or use it for fast starts i just drive it and give it a blow out every other week! I've got a replacement on the way same clutch im just worried about it doing it again to the new gearbox!
