You can't turn your 4E in to a 5E as the 5E block is taller. If you want to go 5E you need a 5E block, crank, rods and flywheel. The rest of the parts such as piston, cylinder head, oil filter housing, sump etc can be used from your 4E.

If you use the OEM flywheel then yes.

A 'conversion flywheel' can also be used which allows a 4E-FTE clutch to fit a 5E engine. We have these on our website by the way.

so its just the block your after see i dunno if they do forged rods for a 5efe or 5efhe i'd say there is somone doing them the block on the 5e is taller think its 15mm or something thaats where they get there longer throw from

why not just go forged with the 4e engine instead

Yes there are 5E forged rods available from brands such as PEC, Scat, etc. I've used PEC before and I'll be using them again in my next build this year.

Wanted 5e as can run bigger turbo but with same lag I'd have from a 4e so more power more torque and same lag :)
