the ring that is part of the bush needs to be removed,that isnt meant to stay in there at all.

when I did mine nearly three years ago I carefully sawed the rubber part of thebushing with a hacksaw ,this then allows for access to cut the last part of the old bush left in there.cut a slot along it(being carefull not to cut into the axle) then a hammer and chisel to remove the "collar/metal part of old bush" .

have burnt them out in past and its a long unnecessary process thats messy aswell as being smelly,definately cut them out.also alot easier.
