Mpg on a uk auto?

Hi , going to buy a cheap uk auto starlet and was wondering what they're like on fuel compared to a manual? Thanks

Horrific, 190 miles to a full tank so around 25 MPG.

It only has a 3 speed box so as you can imagine it's always high up the revs.

They are a nice drive though if you can deal with the fuel consumption.

I haven't worked it out but mine doesn't seem that Good on fuel either tbh.

Get a micra, they have a good auto box as its constantly varying to lower the revs to a good torque level.

i couldn't get my old k11 below 31/32mpg and i used to flat foot it everywhere and i mean everywhere. My old dear has always got 40/45mpg out of her 2 k12s shes had

I always used to get about 300 or more from my old td05 gt. It's making me consider a manual conversion.

mpg was pretty bad on my old auto, but on motorways it was pretty good if driven sensibly

Picked it up yesterday and it drives so good being a auto I fell in love haha , only 40k on it drives like new but I need something good on fuel so might break it, I got a Micra 1.3 manual as a daily now but thought it would be nice to drive an auto for a change

they are pretty nice to drive and they are pretty nippy.

but micras are fun i had one a while back as a daily, i paid peanuts for it but it had 200,000 miles and i gave 50,000 miles of death and i still sold it on
