Do I need to have the speedo cable plugged in for them to work or should they just work with the 3 plugs connected :/ Quote
Calum122 Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 I have done this on my EP82 with no problems quite recenty. So if everything is plugged in correctly then ther eshould not be any problems. I definitely did not have an earth wire. Well infact I was just using Indiglos. Quote
FrozenJakalope Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 I did this too a few months back, also didn't have that Earth. Maybe try running some speaker wire or some such from it and earthing to chassis whilst everything's out, whack the plugs back in and see if it works while everything's out? Never know with these cars what other people have done under the dash before you got there. You definitely don't need the speedo connected though, tested mine with that out and it all worked. Quote
Glanza1996 Posted April 16, 2015 Author Posted April 16, 2015 I have managed to get the fuel gauge bulb to work now just none of the others. Im thinking its maybe a faulty batch of bulbs so waiting on some new ones now. Ill keep you posted on how I get on. Quote
