Ollieh17
Rebuilt the rear brakes, new handbrake cables, pads, disks and pads. All copper greased up etc. One side spins freely the other is quite stiff and doesn't spin by itself. I don't have chance to drive the car before the MOT and hoping its an issue that will go when the pads wear in?
Ryan5793
i had issues with mine being really stiff too after a rebuild, thought a drive might clear it and it was the wheel bearing in the end which after a 1 mile drive somehow shattered. so make sure its not that first before driving it lol
Ollieh17
Pretty sure it was fine before i put the calipers on. Will have a look though
kevmcc90
Yeah I had some issues with rear passengers wheel bearing, had to get adjustment just right so the wheel spun freely but didn't have play in the bearing. Worth a look mate.
Ollieh17
I see, so loosen the nut off a bit
kevmcc90
Yeah man, then check if it spins freely but also check wheel for play once fitted again. Then adjust to suit
Ollieh17
Bearings fine its just the pads
adzy
Not sure what way the glanza handbrake is haven't looked at mine yet, but on the na you can adjust each side inside the drum, I was having one wheel sticking and loosened the handbrake of a touch and it cured it
