Ethanep82
It's my friends, his car is not making any boost what so ever. He has checked most stuff and decided to check the turbo and asked if this was the cause of no boost :\
akyakapotter
That will cause boost creep the cracks in the waste gate.
Ethanep82
That will cause boost creep the cracks in the waste gate. Ahh that's what I thought, thanks for the input guys. Just gonna have to keep looking to see why it's not making any boost Also he just told me theres oil inside his intercooler piping, would that be a problem? I'm under the impression that a bit of oil is fine in the pipework or am I completely wrong? Edited April 20, 2015 by Ethanep82
RobSR
That turbine is rather worn lol. Oil in Intercooler pipe is a sign of a failed oil seal on the compressor side.
