does anyone on here have any experience importing their own car? (i mean doing it all yourself?)

i'd just like to know a bit more about how to go about it and what costs are involved, i know a few stages of whats required but i'd like to see a complete list.

also, i cant seem to find any of these auction sites, i assume they're limited to traders only?

any information would be very helpful. ;)

Hi Scutch,

We've imported a lot of cars over the years, including several EPs.

The Japanese car auctions are available to view usually if you have an account with them in Japan, there are quite a few UK companies offering the service (like myself) and they can give you access to the auctions or send you particular cars etc.
