Mickey The Fish
Item For Sale: Set of 4efe pistons taken from my spare engine, covered approx 86000 miles before being removed and stored. Chemically cleaned and hand polished for a rebuild of my turbo'd 4efe. I polished the pistons to remove any sharp edges to reduce the chance of detonation in my turbo'd 4efe, I've run my main engine with pistons I did the same with before Turbo'ing the 4efe and have had no issues with detonation. All four pistons are within Toyota Tolerences and spec (so not too much material removed in the polishing process) Decided to go forged instead so these are no longer needed.£20 plus fees plus postage. But happy for someone to collect if they want to check before buying.Item Condition & Description: Used but in very good condition.Price:£20Pictures:URL=http://s1330.photobucket.com/user/MickeytheFish1/media/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG_20150412_164016_zpsgsjbw72u.jpg.html] Payment & Shipping Details: Paypal or cash on collection. Mickey The Fish
I can assure anyone interested they are well within tolerance to be used. Absolutely no sanding was involved, chemically cleaned at My local machine shop.. Then the rough edges taken off with a course polishing mop and medium compound then finished with a soft mop and finishing compound. I have a second set in My turbo'd 4efe that I took further than these Ones. The engine made 178bhp and has done 30,000+. Miles with no issues. I've just decided to go forged because I want more power.
