It will help all you guys that are planning to do your swaps in the near future. If there is any thing that needs adding please let me know . My personal most important thing was a decent set of tools. The last thing you want to happen is to have to get some to take you tool shopping halfway through because you haven't got something. Close second was telephone numbers. Helped me massively.You will need:Engine liftA good trolley jackAxle standsLots of cardboard to lie on or a car creeperEngine Oil (if it hasn't already got it)Gearbox oilCoolantA good set of toolsA 4EFTE engine & ECUAn n/a & turbo loom made or a Glanza engine & interior loom with the dashThe 4EFTE power steering pipeA few of you to do itTelephone numbers of people who can give advice or helpLots of patienceTo Do:Remove oil Remove coolant Remove gearbox oilRemove radiatorRemove exhaustRemove Speedo cableRemove accelerator cableRemove petrol linesRemove gearbox hydraulic line and clamp up.Remove gearbox cablesRemove power steering pump feedRemove battery and bracketRemove brake vacuum pipePull Amplifier power cable into car (if you have one)Remove ECUPull old loom out of interiorRemove old sensor on firewallRemove bonnetRemove bumperJackup and place car on axle standsRemove front wheelsRemove drive shafts from diffHook up engine lift and tightenUnbolt engineLift out engineClean engine bayDrop 4EFTE inJack up gearbox into postionBolt in and remove liftPut drive shafts inFill gearbox with oilFit gearbox cablesFit petrol linesFit gearbox hydraulic line and bleed it.Fit power steering feeds to pump.Fit brake vacuum pipeFit radiatorFit FMIC or TMICFit BOV or block off BOV holeFit radiator pipesFill radiator with coolantFit exhaust systemFit Speedo cableFit accelerator cableFit 4EFTE ECU Plug in Loom to interiorFit amplifier power leadFit MAP sensorFit coil packFit bumper Fit bonnetFit wheelsJack car off StandsRemove axle stands and lower carFit batteryRemove the injector connectors Turn keyLet it turn over for a few secondsConnect injectors back upStart engine and smile Sportif 4efte Edited September 30, 2015 by Sportif 4efte Quote
