sosolid
got a uprated fuel pump but it is not inline. so when installed its not straight like the oem pump but at an angle. the filter faces one way and the outlet at the top the other so it doesnt sit properly on the fuel pump assembly. why is this and what can be done to sort it? anyone had this problem? mikey4410
I had this with my first starlet.if its only a little bit of centre it wil be fine. my starlet made 222.6 bhp on a td04L and a pump slightly on the piss haha.aslong as filters on correctly and the pump picks up the fuel ok you will be fine matey
5e colin
its becouse you need to bend the pipe coming down to the pump to make it sit strait
sosolid
yeah sorted guys. basically there's two types of pump GS 341 and GS 342. GS 341 is where the inlet at the bottom and outlet at the top are on opposite ends so it sits at an angle. The GS 342 is where both of them are 'inline' as the OEM one is and sits perfectly.
