Dansstarlet1996 Posted May 17, 2015 Posted May 17, 2015 hey guys im looking to do some bits on my starlet EP91, its NA not the Glanza, wanted to know what size wheels i can put on it without it rubbing the arches? I've heard that anything over 15 or so makes the speedo read wrong aswell? also wanted to lower it using springs as im 18 so havent got a big budget, just want to make it sit abit nicer, looked at Direnza springs that lower it 40mm, does anyone know if theyre any good? many thanks Quote
Cammy R Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Welcome 15inch is the size that most people have as well as myself i had 16's for two weeks and i was back to 15's, i have 40mm Apex springs not expensive at all and they have been on for a year no problem Quote
jimmymac101 Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Welcome along mate, Apex and PI worldwide springs are cost effective way to lower your NA wouldn't go any bigger than 15's will ruin the ride quality got any pictures of your NA ? James Quote
Dansstarlet1996 Posted May 19, 2015 Author Posted May 19, 2015 Thanks guys Apex seems to be the favorite, drops it 35mm, are these the ones? https://www.energizedcustoms.co.uk/shop/toyota-starlet-1996-1999-35mm-drop-apex-lowering-springs.html?gclid=Cj0KEQjwvuuqBRDG95yR6tmfg9oBEiQAjE3RQHJ7Z8NB_iXm3FYhn3zJ-TJ-fnIS3lQ_Matmk2Ch3fEaArYs8P8HAQ only got one picture of it at the mo, but il try and get more to put up later currently only has the rocker cover done, and new seats, but steering wheel should be done this weekend too!
