gorganl2000
anyone have any pictures or is there a dyi on fitting the oem 3 point rear strut brace? are the nuts/holes for the bolts at the bottom point already on the ep82/ep91 chassis or do you have to add these yourself? do you just remove the carpet and everything is already in place? just asking to see of they are any surprises before the installation process begins....best to be prepared as i didn't get a chance to look and wont before weekend thanks for any help
Idrees
They won't bolt in to the Mk 1 GT, but they're a straight fit in the Mk 2/3 and all Glanzas.
Gainzy
You will need bolts to bolt the brace in the middle a monkey could fit it in 5 minutes lol you will see when you look

morgey
Wont bolt into the n/a's either. Turbos have extra bolts 90deg to the uk strut mount holes
gorganl2000
Wont bolt into the n/a's either. Turbos have extra bolts 90deg to the uk strut mount holes always thought those were standard in every ep80/90 series...wasn't aware the n/a chassis didn't have these guess its a pretty easy fix if someone with a n/a wanted to install a rear strut brace though....just get them welded on
morgey
I think you can drill two extra holes and rotate the shock topmount in all honesty lol
gorganl2000
I think you can drill two extra holes and rotate the shock topmount in all honesty lol lol you have a point not sure if it would affect suspension geometry though....would need to be done pretty accurately are there like dummy holes/impressions on the n/a rear shock towers that could help give an idea where to drill? morgey
Wouldnt do much. The rear shocks dont affect any key geo, they litterally just do up and down motion so even if you did get the mounting postion slightly out i very highly doubt you'd ever notice it.
