Anyone removal my aircon today neat Aberdeen ? Will give you 50 smackers

If you get stuck bring it down one weekend, to do it properly takes a few hours, the dash has to come out to take the evaporator out the heater box. Also get the gas removed from the system before touching it, the gas in liquid form will burn though skin and eyes. Im certified to work on AC systems.

Managed to get this done. Wasn't actually to bad. Is fitting exhaust manifold much more of a bitch?

Also when I removed the air cone pipes I left the bulkheads open to atmosphere is this okay ?

Manifolds pretty simple aslong as you have decent tools. And yea you can leave it open to atmosphere or remove the pipes by taking out the condenser under the dash and there's a wee blanking plate to cover it from Id-workz

Okay nice one cheers shaun. Is condenser at passenger side pretty much where the bulk heads go in ?

When you say decent tools what do you mean lol. I got some shifters and spanners and sockets. Do I need special spanners ? I saw someone saying you need special spanners

yea its under passanger side you have to remove a few bits to get at it but doesnt take long.

just reasonable quality tools. ive herd of people snapping sockets/extention bars/ ratchets or rounding bolts because the tools are just shit. the manifold bolts have likely been on there since they care was new so there not exactly keen to come off.
