robwob88 Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 Hi guys. Just in the process of swapping my engine and gearbox and was wondering what's the best oil to use for gearbox/lsd? I'm assuming the diff uses different oil to what the gearbox takes. What does everybody else use/recommend? Quote

oilman Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 Hi I don't think the Cusco diffs need a mineral oil, but is there anything with it stating that it must use mineral oil? If not, a 75w-90 LS oil, like the Motul Gear 300LS, Gulf Competition LS, Millers CRX NT LS or Red Line 75w-90 GL5 will be fine. http://www.opieoils.co.uk/c-970-limited-slip-diff.aspx Cheers Tim Quote
