I've seen the tutorial on how to install one, but read someones comment saying theres a plug behind the dials that makes it easier to install? is it as simple and a few wires into sockets? also what brands/models of tachs are people using or know of that are good??

are you fitting a gauge if so take your signal from the ecu pin

if its a cluster you will have to do some wiring

im not aware of this strait plug ?

i wanted a dash mounted gauge. as a complete beginner for wiring gauges, how does taking it from the ecu work??

i could be wrong about the plug, it was something to wire into instead of piggybacking off of something else? sorry its so vague

you just tap in the wire from ecu igf is the 1 you want for gauge shiftlight etc etc

I've got a set of paseo dials for sale, the plugs are pre wired to connect straight up to your old ones. Just a job of cutting and attaching the same colours

Assuning it's a UKDM P91, you want the plug on the right as you're looking at the clocks. There's a green wire on the right of the top row of the clocks, that's the tacho signal wire. Cut, strip n splice

Hell of a lot easier than tapping off the ECU as you're not having to run a wire behind the dash etc.
