Oil pressure decreased when oil cooler installed.

i noticed an oil pressure decrease once installed an oil cooler. i know its because of longer pipies. im seeing 56psi on Wot using 10 40 motul. is there any other. way to increase pressure?

Nope not really. The oil pump is designed to pump oil at a certain pressure with a certain flow. Increasing the distance the oil needs to travel adds resistance before the oil pressure relief valve. You could try to modify the pressure relief valve to give a higher pressure but it could be a loosing battle.

Make sure the oil lines and cooler are not mounted too high as up as gravity can also have an effect on pressure - best to mount the cooler lower to the car
