Flynn Posted August 29, 2015 Share Posted August 29, 2015 While crawling around under the car today I noticed my air filter (k&n) was so badly fitted to the turbo that it wasn't even totally sealed and it was pushed up so hard against the OEM rad that it has crushed a load of fins. Want to replace the filter and fit a relocation kit but I'm just wondering if anyone could give me the dimentions of pipe I'll need and could recommend a decent filter? (Size?) adzy Posted August 29, 2015 Share Posted August 29, 2015 I have a relocation kit but haven't fitted yet as the filters that I have don't fit between the standard rad, bumper and intercooler. Have ordered a pipercross one now which should fit. Not sure of the size of hose you need for the turbo end but the filter end pipe is 50mm Quote Link to post Share on other sites

patman Posted September 19, 2015 Share Posted September 19, 2015 Genuine apexi ,blitz lm or just go for a k&n foam filters tend to be crapGot a pipercross one on at the minute it's a foam one it does do the job, but about a month ago it was raining hard, and being behind the grill, it got wet and sucked itself back through the pipe, hahaNoticed straight away and pulled it back out and it's ok so far but your right they are crap my other one split where the jubilee clip was so had to do a temp fix Quote Link to post Share on other sites
