Flaminsam
Has anyone looked into the flow of a gt/glanza exhaust? I read somewhere that from the turbo back if you are looking at 250bhp+ a 3" exhaust is a must. Something to do with differential pressure upstream of the turbo (manifold) and downstream of the turbo (down pipe, exhaust system). Any ideas people?
funny onion
side exit
Ollieh17
Theres a discussion on here with people running 300+ without a 3"
Phil
Bigger exhaust the better on a turbo motorThough I'm running 2inch ish at 285hp and could make 300 I'm sure without much hassle at allYou could definitely make more with a bigger exhaust But depends what your using the car forHow much power you want to make etcFor me without an lsd anymore would be utterly uselessPhil
Flaminsam
Cheers for the replies people. I guess if the exhaust flows enough there probably is no reason to change it. Just fancied a change at some point. Charl........I like the side exit idea ;)
daniel_g
2.5" will flow enough, also if youre ewg then theres that extra 38mm of exhaust gasses coming out the screamer too
