forged glanza build! Project!!!!

Recommended Posts

Okay, well most of you may know already know me on here from my previous glanza I built to a pretty high spec. I did buy this glanza as it was meant to be a jump in and drive car for me, but that didn't plan out, I was totally ripped off by a lad from Facebook, after buying it at night (big mistake but thought I could trust him) I got home and the next morning started checking it out, there seemed to be a bolt in the throttle pulley holding the revs up to 2000rpm, as I loosened it off there was a tapping noise and it was getting louder, so I got it checked out and seems it's a head issue, to then discover I also had a gearbox leak from the shaft seal (oem lsd) again was very annoyed. I tried getting a part refund but he was having non of it!

So basically I now have to get the head off and get that all fixed up, have now got a new gearbox and have just bought a cusco lsd to fit in to it

Everything in the spec below weren't all on the car when I got it, I've had it around 2 months and spent a small fortune on it.

FULL SPEC!

This is my Toyota glanza 1996.

It has a lot of history and receipts and stuff which you don't usually get with most imports, it has nearly a folder full of paperwork with thousands spent.

Also has a lot of jap history and jap books etc, also has the import papers from when it was imported in the UK back in 2007.

Now the specs of the car are below, I've tried to list as much as I can from the top of my head.

Looks a decent spec dude shame about the problems didn't you wonder why the car was sitting at 2k revs when you went to view it?

I did yea bud but just presumed it was the icv that needed turning down, didn't think anything of it. Was also raining so I blame myself for not doing the checks I'd usually do!

Looks alright mate.. spec seems good enough. Shame about the issues u come across. Whats plans for it?

Seen another white 1 kicking around plymouth..

Varis front bumper livesports spoiler...

That was my old glanza, I bought off Facebook with a blown engine, rebuilt it and sold it to a close mate who I knew would look after it and she has been mint ever since.

Not very many plans to be honest, il just build it till I think it's what I want it to be. I want to be in the 300s though.

As you can see I've been attempting to change the old, standard diff and swap it out for the cusco lsd which I have recently bought.

I did challenged myself as it's not something if usually attempt to do, but i pulled it off, it did test my patience a couple of times but I managed to keep my cool and crack on. Here's a few pictures of the change over!

Your going to break your neck and probably your back the way you have your harness set up if you have a bump

How should they be fixed? They were like this when I got them and haven't used the car yet. Were going to use them for show but seeing as they're there I may as well use them, but in the correct way!

OK thanks what make r thet buddy

Il have a check for you buddy.
