Ibe just replaced the turbo because I killed the old one and both of them have a whistle when they spool up. I always thought whistle = dying turbo? Maxep Posted December 31, 2015 Share Posted December 31, 2015 Yeah had the same thing happen to me, Had a whistle when on boost. Turned out to be the intercooler piping leaking. Other than that, I can only hear the turbo spool noise. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
