akyakapotter
I jacked the axel up to ride height and adjusted to suit was a pain in the ass lol
Dansstarlet1996
so the axle has to be at the right ride height?
5e colin
you cant do it urselve it needs to go on 4wheel alignment computer to center the axel
Dansstarlet1996
cant you measure the arch to wheel gap and do it that way? and does the car have to be on the ground or can it be done on axle stands?

Dansstarlet1996
its dropped 40mm so its not miles down, its on springs too not coilovers, so can barely see any difference each side tbh, il do it tomorrow measuring it and then stick it on the aligner at work to be sure
5e colin
40mm drop equals about 6% out on the rear axel crab crab anyways if you wont get it done on the computer your car will always be crabbing
Arnold
The bloke that fitted mine adjusted it to the same length of a standard one and fitted it on! I take it that's not right? Edited December 30, 2015 by Arnold
Dansstarlet1996
I've just done mine and it needed adjusting, took about 2 hours i stuck a plumb line on the arch and measured from the line to the edge of the rim, and it was pushed across so needed adjusting

I take it that's not right? nope the lower the car gets the shorter the penhard becomes to stay centered
MR-2
Making my on adjustable panhard. Very curious to know what would be some basic length to target. If maybe -50mm/2" dropped, is that 2,5cm/1" shorter or how much. Can calculate myself some day when I add coilovers, but would be easier if there is some basic formula for that ?I'm doing EP91 axle to EP70. Upper panhard is from 7 and lower from 9, 10mm difference, also axle is 10mm wider each side, so that why factory has made it shorter.
