MAP sensor issues on a 4efe+t

Recommended Posts

Just use a 4efte map sensor. Both work in the 0-5v range. The problem with the 4efe sensor is that your hitting boost which is maxing out the voltage range and the ecu can see something is wrong..

The only way it will do the same when using a turbo map sensor is if you hit 1 bar boost... Which won't be happening.

So turbo map sensor and it's fixed.

But your then halfing the fuel off boost. Ideally you will need turbo injectors and some way to control fuelling...

Realistically it would be better all round just to buy a piggyback ecu and get it mapped.
