Fitted a decat and greddy boost gauge on my glanza, it's also got the high low boost bypassed. I've set it to 0.65 peak as I know that's what they run standard but it will now go past that to about 0.70-0.75 bar is this doing any damage it over boosting? As fuel cut is 0.85 bar anyway? And would having an adjustable acuator stop it going over? Quite confused if it's damaging , Thanks Dan

Definitely the turbo wastegate mate for sure, I presume you still have the original manifold on aswell? That has a restriction in port 3, although not sure if that needs to be ported as your keeping it standard Colin will have the answer to that one

Okay mate, What kind of job is porting the wastegate any guides on here? Yes still running standard manifold at the moment , have a few other mods like hks induction and blitz fmic! Saving up for a ram horn manifold so not sure it's worth me porting it :)

Its always worth porting it unless you're changing to ext w/g.

As for porting theres no guide really needed.

Remove turbo kit.

Remover actuator

Remove decat

Mark round w/g penny

use a dremmel to open up the w/g

In this cold weather theres not much chance of stopping boost creep tbh, porting the wastegate will help a bit but dont be surprised if you see the gauge rising to fuel cut levels.

CT9 turbos (in internal gate form) are pretty shit at regulating boost, once you start to do mods like decat / relocated filter / fmic.
