Personally I think that you change everything else on the car that it won't matter at all unless it's not to the buyers taste. Unless it's a complete OEM build I'd go for it. These aren't Classic ferraris where you have to have matching chassis & engine numbers with original paint!

100% go for it mate, if it's a quality job that's only going to reflect the effort spent elsewhere on the car. It would personally be a plus if I was looking to buy as long as the colour was to my taste.

I did it and regretted it. Much prefer the oem plus look. If i was to do it again i would repaint in the same colour as the car and properly shine it up

I'd only ever paint the bay the original colour I've seen a few painted bays and thought wtf 🙈 It's all personal preference I suppose .. On re sale value it would definitely put me off buying a potential car as its a big job to put right if it not to the new buyers taste

Like you say it's personal preference, I think as long as it goes with the theme of the car it can look really good however I have seen some that just don't go

Gotta be sensible with it like people have mentioned.

Ive done mine white as its a track car and there is a purpose too it.

I do want to lick the whole car white in the future too so that was another bonus.
