Half rad losing coolant

My half rad is losing a lot of coolant and the car keeps overheating, there's no milky stuff around cams when I open up oil filler cap, and no foaming out of the rad and no visible signs of any leaks anywhere, any ideas lads it's been fairly cold around lately so there is a fair bit of condensation coming out of the exhaust at times, the last thing I want to hear is head gasket gone

Have you checked everything mate with the engine running? Even at the back where water pipes are, could be water pump seal, even heater matrix

Check the plastic screwy release valve where you drain it at the bottom..they usually have a shitty rubber seal that can split.

Haven't checked the water pipe behind engine yet mate will have a look tomorrow! The bleeder thing on bottom of rad seems to be fine and can't see any signs of leaking from water pump but as you said I should check with engine running, heater matrix is that a common problem? Is there any symptoms to look for when it's the heater matrix acting up?

are you using the rad cap that came with the rad? try swapping it for a better one if so. I had a similar problem and mine turned out the be the shit rad cap, replaced it with a blitz one and it seems much better

Also I noticed the overflow keeps filling up

Most likely head gasket....get a sniff test before removal

Yeah will do, if it's head gasket the car is getting broke for parts
