gorganl2000
Definitely water got into either plugs or distributior cap, I get it sometime even with top mount. yeah, most likely scenerio due to weather you mentioned water in the distributor cap and/or plugs will cause it to run very rough and misfire
Avinash Trance
Yeah...i removed all the plugs yesterday. Guess what Third and Forth spark plugs were drendched. I wire brushed them.I put some gasket maker silicone on top of the plug wires where it fit the rocker cover.
EP70-PT
I had this, spray WD40 on your dizzy plugs and down the spark plug holes, it worked for me, use a compressor too if you can to get rid of all the water ;)
Avinash Trance
Yeah thanx. And by the way do you all use Iridium Spark Plugs or Copper?

Iwan-g-g
I use ngk copper spark plugs. Used iridium in my old starlet and see no difference at all except nearly £30 extra for the iridium
gorganl2000
copper plugs work fine
Avinash Trance
So no need to spend more for Iridium.
