JamesD89
Wondering if anyone could give me some advice please?, I have purchased a Glanza from Japan and the seller has asked would I mind having the car shipped to Southampton rather than Bristol as first agreed due to a unreliable and slow shipping company that could deliver to Bristol, but he is also claiming to be unable to change the final destination on the proforma invoice. Would this be a problem? and could it cause any mix up with the delivery or incur me any additional duty costs etc? I'm happy to have the car delivered to Southampton docks, but not if it going to cause me any extra hassle/cost or paperwork. If anyone has any experience in this and could enlighten me it would be very helpful as its my first go at this, hope this all makes sense to someone. ThanksJames
_shaun_
Are you using an agent at the dock to do your paperwork and handle customs? If so I'd speak with them and see. From a customs perspective there only interested in the total price paid
