Engine differences, Starlet GT or Glanza for Forged build.

Hello guys,

Looking on the net and thinking about getting some new rods and Forged pistons to rebuild my engine that the famous bottom end failed.

I know the Gt engine has a few differences, like thicker con-rods, extra hole in the inlet mani etc,.....but for strength wise are they both the same?

Blocks the same?

If im spending money, which one would be best to build up?

Scat rods, are they direct replacment or need a notch in the block?

If you are gonna forge it then it doesnt really make a difference tbh.

GTs have thicker rods standard but that means fuck all they still blow up just as easy.
