StarletRick Posted March 8, 2008 Share Posted March 8, 2008 not really.... your oil vapourises when it gets hot/churned about in the engine, and the stock oil breather goes back into the intake. this can cake up in the intake pipes and is pretty messy. its done like this to lower emitions. the catch tank just "catches" the oil vapours instead of puting them back into the engine to burn.
