Whitenoize
Has anyone on here owned a t sport compressor just want a bit of general feedback on them they seem good value for money at the min price has dropped on them quite a bit the last year or so just wondering what they are like to live with what they handle like and any common faults etc any info or opinions would be great Thanks Ryan
morgey
Mpg isnt great and the stock shocks cost a fortune from toyota. like for the price of 2 you can get a set of coilovers with change expensive lol. Then they have the usual Tsport issues which aren't anything major just little niggles. Flap on cubby hole breaks Heater matrix blocks and needs flushing Slider for the seat plays up. Car can leak from weather strip on the roof if windscreen wasnt replaced properly. Think thats the main bits lol basic early 00s budget cuts leading to poorer quality cars imo Sent from my SM-G903F using Tapatalk
Socks
Morgeys has nailed the usual TS issues... Compressor suffers from Alternator bracket/wiring wear issues. Also if not maintained they produce less power then a stock TS!
morgey
Good point, make sure the charger has been serviced/oil changed regularly Sent from my SM-G903F using Tapatalk
Starlet__SR
Proper supercharger oil isn't cheap either. Might be worth going on the corolla club uk Facebook page. If there's any particular car then it's worth asking about it as there may be some history to it.
Bluebear
Paging Blutto...!Dad used to have one, sold it earlier this year. Generally trouble free other than the common issue of the extended alternator harness giving up. And he had swapped his suspension out to BCs as Toyota wanted £600 a corner at the time to replace the original units
