Hi, car looks really good and great to see what you have done.
I have just bought a 1.3 Sportif .
I don’t know much about the cars but am I right in thinking mechanically there isn’t much difference between the Sportif and SR.
could you tell me what springs and dampers you have on your car as I will be using mine at my local Hillclimb.
Thanks
Power wise all uk spec ep91 are the same mate, I’m using kyb struts and top mounts with tein s springs, not too low and doesn’t sacrifice ride comfort whilst I find the setup is compliant and a lot cheaper than coilovers, thanks for the comments

Brilliant build mate. I see you pulled the arse out on a Celette bed, did you build all the brackets up for that?? I thought at first you're probs a fitter but I reckon you're a beater now hahaha
Right first time mate I’m a fitter ! Didn’t need to pull it out as it’s so soft it just plenished out the bench just happened to be under the ramp😂

I have one from a ebay kit I bought years ago if it's any use to you. It's quite short though.
James
Any pics of it mate

Thanks man, but they won’t split the hot pipe unfortunately and I don’t need the rest of the setup ! The hunt continues
-
Yeah I’ve tried all the fabrication places, dean at rw doesn’t make them anymore, sacha at wepr will only do one with a full pipe kit and intercooler which I don’t need, td don’t do them, id workz no longer do them, hdi don’t sell the pipe kit separately 😩I might have to chance my hand with jperformance and just use PayPal
-
Does anybody know of anywhere that sells short route hot pipes new ? For ct9
-
The price is spot on for the work they’ve done, I didn’t want a second hand emb and for the money I can’t argue with the reliability and end result.

The Dyno result, great figures.
You mention TD in a previous post ??. Is this tunning development. I see TD quoted alot related with Toyota owners.
How much did you pay for mapping?.
I've spoken with tuning development on the phone very helpful and knowledgeable on these.
Yeah it’s tuning developments in Warrington, mike and nick are good guys I’m really happy with the car, charged me £699 to supply fit and map greddy emanage blue and 3 bar map sensor, some fabrication work and a k&n air filter

Nice updates
Was there a reason for not using any electronically controlled boost control?
You could improve the response, control and safety if so 👍
I mean the options there for me to add one but it just comes down to £££ at the minute I’ve spent enough recently so decided against it for now. Would you recommend one ?

Got busy on the glanza today to get some jobs done, first up was new blue print rear disks and wheel bearings with pagid pads, then replaced some broken arch liner liner clips with new ones as they were rattling annoyingly, then fit new whiteline panhard rod. And lastly my parts from amayama in Japan finally arrived today so got round to fitting some of it 😰

Looks good! What are you hoping to make from the new setup?
did you manage to keep much of the front bumper too?
They usually make anywhere from 200-230ish once mapped on emb at 1 bar so anywhere around there I’d be happy, I’ve not had to cut the bumper but fitment isn’t great so gonna get different shaped boost pipes once it’s mapped to optimise fitment as the fitment of the japspeed kit really isn’t great at all. Also gonna get a slim line rad fan as the oe one is just too big

Glad u kept it and are now going to put it back on the road as you don’t see many anymore, it’s a shame they’ve never really gone up in value such a good little car, I had a white one as an 18 year old apprentice at Toyota I’m 37 now 😂 but definitely saved this one from the scrapper . Get a project thread going happy to help anyway I can just fire away 👍
