  3. Bolted it back together then a phone call to mike at td for some new gaskets an oil return and a tial wastegate then put it together E903705C-A068-4F11-B498-6BDF0B219E31.thumb.jpeg.447706acb509e9a11cac407064c71281.jpegC4B839DC-65E7-4D03-B969-E7BF01C7591F.thumb.jpeg.8f3033baf5c4d5c418b2c078298cd049.jpegjust need to sort myself a front mount intercooler with pipe work then off to tuning developments for an emb and set up, I know it’s been done a million times but it’s my daily so need to keep it reliable and safe so 0.9 bar springs in the wastegate.

  4. Managed to get new crank seal and a few other bits from td last week and did a few little jobs while I’ve got lockdown time on my hands. Replaced the drivers seat belt with the new one I bought from Toyota 2 years ago 🤣, it sorted the flashing light out on the dash instantly! Why I left it so long I don’t know. Fitted new boot plinth clips and front arch liner clips as they were vibrating on warm up.

  5. Not updated for a while, been busy with the sr and 206, she keeps trooping on as a daily with no real issues really. I did get round to doing the timing belt and tensioners, changed the cam seal but noticed the front crank seal was weeping 😩 and the sump wants pulling off cleaning and re sealing so it still leaks oil !

  6. Ok so I’ve checked for air leaks to no joy, it idled high before I changed the inlet from factory to Corolla and can’t see a split in any of the vac pipes😔 I’ve changed the TPS and it’s made no difference at all so was thinking the sensor on the drivers side  bulk head that has a vac pipe going to the inlet(not sure what it is) top left behind the strut brace, I’m running out of ideas !EAFF1EC3-5015-456B-BA31-ECDF764A756B.thumb.jpeg.babcb49f3a8d934499c626518370cb76.jpeg

  7. Hi peeps bit of advice if anyone’s in the know, I’ve deleted the abs from my 98 glanza v but need new rear wheel bearings, I’m reading they are a one piece brake disk/wheel bearing part so can I fit the cheaper non abs units or do I have to fit the more expensive abs ones ?

  8. My n/a has a high idle, starts at 1200 rpm when cold then rises to 1500 rpm after warm up phase, it has a Corolla inlet, so far I’ve changed throttle body gasket, checked and cleaned all the earths, cleaned idle air valve and throttle housing out, it runs standard air box with blitz panel filter. Anybody any ideas ? Changing the icv was my next step 😔
