  1. Thanks I’m gonna place an order for a few bits and see how it goes
  2. Any one ordered parts from these guys from japan ? What was your experience like ie where the parts right, genuine Toyota, how long did it take for them to arrive ? Any info appreciated
  3. Anyone know if n/a and glanza rear wheel bearings are the same?
  4. Found them on eBay if I remember rightly and just messaged them but they are on google herne bay I think
  5. Bolted it back together then a phone call to mike at td for some new gaskets an oil return and a tial wastegate then put it together just need to sort myself a front mount intercooler with pipe work then off to tuning developments for an emb and set up, I know it’s been done a million times but it’s my daily so need to keep it reliable and safe so 0.9 bar springs in the wastegate.
  6. Decided to get on with the tdo4 setup today so I split the exhaust side from the turbo and did this
  7. Managed to get new crank seal and a few other bits from td last week and did a few little jobs while I’ve got lockdown time on my hands. Replaced the drivers seat belt with the new one I bought from Toyota 2 years ago 🤣, it sorted the flashing light out on the dash instantly! Why I left it so long I don’t know. Fitted new boot plinth clips and front arch liner clips as they were vibrating on warm up.
  8. Not updated for a while, been busy with the sr and 206, she keeps trooping on as a daily with no real issues really. I did get round to doing the timing belt and tensioners, changed the cam seal but noticed the front crank seal was weeping 😩 and the sump wants pulling off cleaning and re sealing so it still leaks oil !
  9. Or instead of using 4efte ecu u could greddy emb and have it mapped to run 0.6 bar, using a tdo4 turbo would be better for controlling the boost as u don’t want it to creep and melt the engine. Are u in Bolton?
  10. Ok so I’ve checked for air leaks to no joy, it idled high before I changed the inlet from factory to Corolla and can’t see a split in any of the vac pipes😔 I’ve changed the TPS and it’s made no difference at all so was thinking the sensor on the drivers side bulk head that has a vac pipe going to the inlet(not sure what it is) top left behind the strut brace, I’m running out of ideas !
  11. Fitted a couple of bits I’ve been waiting on, mr2 steering wheel completely plug and play 😀, glanza footrest and some new centre cap gel badges, oh and removed the Fensport stickers also as per request 😂
  12. Thanks man I take it the only difference would be the machined part for the abs to pick up from ?
  13. Hi peeps bit of advice if anyone’s in the know, I’ve deleted the abs from my 98 glanza v but need new rear wheel bearings, I’m reading they are a one piece brake disk/wheel bearing part so can I fit the cheaper non abs units or do I have to fit the more expensive abs ones ?
  14. Not yet car is at work and I’m not 😔
  15. Thanks for the replies I’ll check for air leaks
  16. My n/a has a high idle, starts at 1200 rpm when cold then rises to 1500 rpm after warm up phase, it has a Corolla inlet, so far I’ve changed throttle body gasket, checked and cleaned all the earths, cleaned idle air valve and throttle housing out, it runs standard air box with blitz panel filter. Anybody any ideas ? Changing the icv was my next step 😔
  17. Anybody fitted a mk3 mr2 steering wheel or know if they fit?
  18. A couple more 🥰 going for mot next week then it will be going for a dyno run hopefully
  19. Really well plastic bracket that holds gear cables broke at the end of one of the days so cable tied it up to get home and the replacement part was cheap so it’s all good, had no other problems at all 👍
  20. Nor updated for a while, done 4 more track days in it since the new brakes went on with no problems so far 😀
  21. Thanks mate, just been busy at work so had no time to finish the few bits off it needs.
