For this week only there is an opportunity for any of you to get on the rolling road down at the torque of the south garage in Southend-on-sea. The cost is £50 cash for 3 power runs with print out, but for the first 5 people who reply to this they get what's mentioned above but at the reduced rate of £40. Torque of the south is a well established business mostly dealing with pulsars and GTR's. Any one who owns/previously owned a pulsar will know Bob's garage. Offer must end this Friday (late evenings preferable)

So it would seem I need to replace my passenger side cv joint. I'm getting a knocking noise when turning right and the boot and all other components are covered in grease, even though the boot doesn't look split in anyway. Only had the car a couple of weeks ... Joy! Now what I want to know is how easy is it going to be to replace? I've managed to source a new cv joint kit from camskill but I'm worried about torque settings and whether I will have the ability to change it or whether I'm better off just getting the part and sending it to the garage? Any advise will be very much appreciated, Thank you.

Not sure how helpful this is but thought I'd give my two cents, have you checked for faults with the pedal test? If you have a search for the Vauxhall forum they do a complete fault code list and how to do the pedal test, May just point you in the right direction.
