  1. Got a 3 inch Japspeed system, not a lot of miles on it.
  2. I might still have this, ill have a look on Saturday and let you know.
  3. I have some EP82 clocks, you mean the guages (speed, revs, temp, fuel & boost) right?
  4. Can you add a pic of the bit you mean, I should have it, do you mean the one closest to / behind the passengr headlight attached to a it of metal?
  5. You can see what I mean about the cranks from the two images here: http://www.ukstarletowners.com/topic/54832-where-to-get-a-knife-edge-crank-from/ 1st image marked 4E, 2nd marked 4ET.
  6. A couple of long ways which would definatley tell you, would be the size of the clutch (the 4EFTE one is bigger 212mm I think) and you could take the sump off and see the marking on the crank, I think the 4EFTE ones are marked as 4ET and the 4EFE ones as 4E. But failing that you could check each engine side by side and see the vacum lines and the differences. Or you could take the engine number off the block (I thinks it sticks out from the block above the distributor and then check with Toyota and see what they have it as (This would involve the least work and Toyota should know). Also have a
  7. Let us know how you get on man.
  8. There shouldn't be a problem with the electrics as you would be putting the same engine in and its the same loom that runs it (4EFTE loom to 4EFTE engine, you should be able to put a new one in and just drive), so all connectors would be fine. Just be careful not to damage any of the clips or the wires when taking them or the engine out. Also probably best to do as above and label the wires with a marker and masking tape and put bolts etc in labelled bags.
  9. Looking for one of these and can't see any active breaking threads at the moment, anyone got one? I need it for an EP82 but im sure (not certain) that they must be the same as the EP91 one?
  10. Fixed now, basically put a fuse in that wasnt there before (when they were working) and now they work, after trying everything else. Weird.
  11. Hi, My indicators have stopped working, they were woking fine one minute, when I next go to use them they don't work, the hazards still work though. I have done a search and tried all of the previous solutions such as: All fuses are fine. Sticky hazard switch, mine engages and disengages fine, and the hazards turn on and off. Changed the stalk to a known working one, no joy. Have connected a live feed to the relay (the black box one with blue writing on it behind the dash) and with this directly connected to the battery the indicators work but without this they don't. Any ideas
  12. Does anybody have one in good condition, no accident damage etc and with all the looms still in place, preferably a 95?
  13. Nice work on the wiring mate, that looked a right mess beforehand!
  14. If all of the above doesnt work, try checking that the earths are still connected. I had the exact same issue, drove fine, stopped for 20 mins come back and loud clicking when trying to start, tried rocking it in gear, bumping and jumping it. It turned out to be one of the earths (an aftermarket earth fom the battery all over the engine bay) was a bit corroded and disconnected itself. Connected it back up and it started fine.
  15. Let us know how you get on mate, the plugs do need to be replaced every now and then.
  16. possibly try the plugs again mate. Saw something similar here http://www.ukstarletowners.com/topic/75046-pretty-clueless/#entry942229 and that cured it.
